The 2020 United States presidential election was the 59th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The Democratic ticket of former Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Senator Kamala Harris defeated the Republican ticket of incumbent President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. The election saw a record number of ballots cast early and by mail due to the ongoing pandemic. As a result of the large number of mail-in ballots, some swing states saw delays in vote counting and reporting; this led to major news outlets delaying their projection of Biden and Harris as the winners until four days later, on November 7. During the campaign, on election night, and after the Democrats were declared winners, some Republicans made unsubstantiated claims in an attempt to delegitimize the election. However, officials in all 50 states have stated that there is no evidence of systematic fraud or irregularities in their state. Federal agencies overseeing election security say it was the most secure in American history. Biden and Harris are scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20, 2021. Trump has not conceded and has filed legal challenges disputing the results of the election; but I'm sure in due course of time President Trump will concede, so that a peaceful presidential transition can be implemented in the United States of America. So this was certainly a very heated contest between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, with both candidates being caught up a bit in the heat of the moment, I think. However, now is the time that both of those fine gentlemen - Donald Trump and Joe Biden - make peace with each other, and start working together in a synergetic and constructive way on making America great again; by respecting and honoring the final election results and the democratic process, so that the US can be healed, and America can once again become the great nation and force of good, that She once was! Therefore President Donald Trump ought to concede, so that his legacy of making America great again is not tarnished, and that the memory of President Trump will remain positive among the future generations in the US and the world at large. By conceding, President Trump and the US Republican Party would ensure that the positive legacy of President Trump prevails, and that the presidential transition in the US can commence peacefully, harmoniously and in a dignified way. After all, at the end of the day, we are all playing on the same team here :)
